Hi, I’m Nisha

I’m a psychologist, owner of 3 businesses, vegan foodie, wife and mum of two.

Thank you for visiting my home page where I hope to give you insight into all the ways I can help you, your children, your students or your employees.

Through my businesses, I practice a wide range of therapies that can be used to treat everything from anxiety and depression to PTSD and so much more.  I specialise in helping those who are dealing with breast cancer or  Dyslexia, but I am here to serve anyone who feels they would like the support.

Getting a formal psychoeducational assessment can be the first step in identifying support needs; whether for education or employment. I use a variety of up-to-date clinical tools to carry out in-depth Dyslexia assessments, recognised by educational and professional institutions.

My passion is to support those affected by cancer to live with, live through, and beyond diagnosis. My Simple-6 programme explores how we can all take better care of our physical and emotional health and prevent ‘dis-ease’. Through the healing of mind, body and soul you can enable yourself to live the best version of your life possible.

How I can help

I am certified in a range of therapies that I can use to support you on your journey. Click on each section to open and learn more.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing)

A form of psychotherapy used to weaken emotionally charged memories of past events, which also may be traumatic. This approach involves guided rapid eye movement and is particularly effective in treating PTSD.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

A solution-focused talking therapy. I’ll challenge your ‘irrational thoughts’ and break them down. CBT is a great way to change unwanted behaviours.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

Using this approach I’ll help you to change your thought processes, behaviours and beliefs. Free yourself to be the person you really want to be.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

A form of psychological acupressure closely related to traditional acupuncture. I use simple tapping to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you are invited to think about your specific problem area and voice positive affirmations.

Hypnosis

An induced state of deep relaxation. During hypnosis, the rational part of the brain is temporarily bypassed making the subconscious part, which influences mental and physical functions, receptive to therapy.

Time Line Therapy

Concerned with how we unconsciously store our memories and significant emotional events along a line from the past, through the present, to the future. I support the unconscious mind to detect the root cause of a negative emotion or limiting belief which can then be resolved on an unconscious level.

Mindfulness

A simple form of meditation requiring you to focus your full attention on the present moment. You will come to experience that thoughts and feelings (including negative ones) are transient. It’s a practice of observation without criticism and being compassionate with yourself.

Testimonials

“Nisha has been absolutely lovely to work with, always made me feel very comfortable and is very easy to talk to. I have found our sessions invaluably helpful and empowering.”

“My employer and I have found the assessment process really useful. One of the assessments I completed looked at the use of coloured overlays. I couldn’t believe that my reading speed increased by 100% when using a blue overlay! My employer has put in place many of the recommendations made in the report and as a result things have really improved for me at work.”

Thank you Nisha! A lovely person to work with. Nisha recently tested my son (who is also on the autistic spectrum), for dyslexia. Very professional & communication was great. My son didn’t find the testing a chore & liked Nisha very much. Thorough & informative from start to finish. Would highly recommend.
